Sounds like a job for key-logging software, which tracks Web sites a person visits, chat conversations, even keystrokes. A company called Exploreanywhere Software (exploreanywhere.com) sells several good key-logging programs, including SpyBuddy ($49.99), which can secretly monitor all your daughter's activity, and ChatBlocker ($39.99), which lets you set the times when she can chat -- and record logs of her chats. With the latter program, of course, she'll know what you're up to, and if she suspects you're key- logging her, she may be able to use an anti-spyware program to disable your monitoring program. Technology sure has complicated the parent-child relationship, hasn't it?
